Calibrating the Touchscreen
When operating the phone with the stylus, if the phone does not respond to your operation correctly, you can calibrate the screen as follows-
1. Select Start> Settings> System> Screen> Align screen to display the screen for calibration.
2. Calibrate the screen by tapping the center of the cross on the screen accordingly to the displayed messages.
3. During the calibration, tap the center of the cross accurately, so that the phone responds to your tap and text entry on the screen correctly after the calibration.


Using the Motion Sensor
Your phone is equipped with a motion sensor. When the motion sensor is enable, the display on the screen reorients itself depending on the movement of the phone.
To set the motion sensor, you can select Start> settings> System> Gravity Sensor> Settings. The available options are, 
  • Enable auto rotate
  • Enable overturn mute ring
  • Enable overturn mute alarm
  • Enable rote full screen
  • Enable sake to switch



Signal Indications
The color and status of the back light of the navigation key, call key and End key informs you of the following:
  • Red (on): The phone is being charged
  • Green (on): The phone is fully charged
  • Green (blinking): There is a system message
  • Blue (blinking): Bluetooth is turned on.




Adding a New Contact
1. Select Start> Contacts to open the Contacts screen.
2. Tap New> Outlook Contact/UIM Contact, and enter the contact information.
3. Tap Ok to save.


Settings WLAN
WLAN provides a brand new mode for wireless network acess. to use WLAN for network access on the  phone, you need to access a wireless access point or a hot spot.

Select Start> Settings> Connections> WLAN and then the Search for networks. The system then automatically turns on WLAN and search for available WLAN networks. After the search, you can tap any of the access points to access the corresponding WLAN networks. You can access corresponding WLAN network directly if it is open for access. If the network is WEP-encrypted, you need to enter the corresponding WEP key to access the network.


Using the Task Manager
To open the task manager, select Start> Programs> Task Manager.
With the Task Manager, you can check the application that are currently running on the phone and close an application or switch to an application quickly. The running speed of the phone will be advesly affected if too many application are running.



Memory Status
To view the memory usage, select Start> Settings> System>  Memory.



Synchronization
With ActiveSync, you can synchronize your device with a PC and back up and restore your data.

Connecting to a PC
1. Install ActiveSync on a PC.
Note: On a PC with the Windows Vista or Windows 7 OS installed, you need to install Windows Mobile Device Center; on a PC with the Windows XP OS or TH OSs of erliar version installed, you need to install ActiveSync.

2. Connect your device to the PC.

3. Perform the connection to the PC according to the no-screen instruction.
Note: You can connect your device to the PC by using a USB cable or via Bluetooth. When the USB cable is used, your device can automatically synchronize with the PC. When Bluetooth is used, you need to first pair your device with the PC.



Synchronizing Information
You can take information from your computer wherever you go by synchronizing then to you device. The following types of information can be synchronized between your computer and your device:

Microsoft Office Outlook, which includes Office Outlook email, contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes.
Favourites, which are the bookmarked links to to your favourite Web sites.
Media, such as pictures, music, and video.
Files such as documents and other files.


Synchronizing Music and Video
You can set up Windows Media Player on your computer to synchronize music and video with your device.

Install Windows Media Player version 11 or later on your computer.
Connect your device to the computer with a USB cable.
Set up a sync partnership between your device and your computer's Windows Media Player.


Synchronizing with the Exchange Server
You can connect your device to the Internet and synchronize with the Exchange Server.
1. Select Start> Program> ActiveSync> Menu> Add Server Source.
2. Enter your email address and tab Next.
3. Enter a server address and tap Next.
4. Enter your Exchange Server's user name, password and domain name and tab Next.
5. Select the type of data you want to synchronize.
6. When you are done, tap Finish.




Connectivity 

Using Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology. Devices with Bluetooth capabilities can exchange information over a distance of about 10 meters. Wall or other obstacles between devices may block or impair the wireless connection.

Make Your Device Visible
To allow other devices to find and connect to your device, you have to activate the visibility mode.
1. Select Start> Settings> Connections> Bluetooth.
2. Tab the Mode tab.
3. Select the Turn on Bluetooth and Make this device visible to other devices check boxes and tap Ok to save.

Connecting a Bluetooth Headset
You can use a Bluetooth hands-fee headset for your device.
Your device also supports Advance Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), which allows you to use a Bluetooth stereo headset for hands-free phone conversions and stereo music listening.

1. Make sure that both your device and the Bluetooth headset are turned on and within a close range, and that the headset is visible.
2. Select Start> Settings> Connections> Bluetooth.
3. Tab Add new device in Device tab.
4. Tab the name of the Bluetooth headset, then tap Next.
5. Enter the PIN code delivered with your headset.


Sending Data via Bluetooth
You can send files to another Bluetooth-enabled device via Bluetooth.
1. Make sure that the Bluetooth function is enabled.
2. Select Start> Programs> File Explorer.
3. Locate an item o file you want to send.
4. Tap and hold the file and tap Beam File in the pop up menu.
5. Select a device from the list and Tab to Send.

Visiting a Web Site
Enter the URL address bar and press the Ok key.

Using Other Functions
While browsing Web pages, tab Menu to open the menu of Internet Explorer Mobile. You can also tab and hold an empty area on a Web page to open a structure menu.
  • Tab Add to Favourites to add the current web page to Favourites.
  • Tab View to set the text size and the view mode.
  • Tab Tools to send links, view properties, or open the options menu.
  • Tab and hold a picture and tab Save Image As to save the picture.
  • To minimize from full screen, just hold the Confirm key for few second, and then you will get the option to minimize.



Internet Sharing
Internet Sharing connects your computer to the Internet by using your device's data connection.

1. On your device, select Start> Programs> Internet Sharing.
2. In the PC Connection list, select USB or Bluetooth.
3. In the Network Connection list, select the name of the connection that your device uses to connect to the Internet.
4. Connect your device to the computer using the USB cable or via Bluetooth.
5. Tab Connect.
